  • who are the trainers?

    Restaurant owners, General Managers, Managers, and professional servers with extensive hospitality experience, across multiple restaurant categories, make up our team of passionate trainers. Our training approach is based upon excellence in the industry.

  • How do i become certified?

    Servers Excellence Certification is achieved by completing the two-day training program, and by achieving a combined passing score from the in-person performance evaluation, and certification test. Upon passing you will receive a Servers Excellence Certificate to present for future employment opportunities.

  • Do i need to attend both training days?

    In order to complete the Servers Excellence training and be eligible for Certification, you must attend all training days and scheduled hours.

  • is servers excellence affiliated with smart serve?

    Servers Excellence is a unique training program from Smart Serve Ontario, and has no affiliation. As a server in Ontario, you are still required to complete the Smart Serve alcohol training. Visit https://smartserve.ca/ for more information.

  • what should i bring to the training?

    To be prepared for the two-day training, we recommend bringing a charged laptop or digital pad, to follow along with training manual, as well as tools for note taking. You will be provided with breakfast, lunch and beverages, however we suggest bringing additional snacks if you have dietary requirements.

  • what is the cancellation policy?

    Contact info@serversexcellence.com to cancel your registration. Trainees can cancel within 14 days of their scheduled training date, for a full-refund, minus a 3% processing fee. Late cancellations will be refunded 50% of the total order. There are no refunds within 48-hours of the event date and time. Refunds will be processed within 14-days of the cancellation date, on the same form of payment used to register.
